Lingering Looks at Leo - Act Two ~ 24 Jun 2021

As we enter the phase of Leo transits due to occur during August and with consideration of all that is Leonine, take a moment to reflect upon how confident, soul-centered, self-assured people are perceived by others. There’s a reason folks grooving on what they have organically drift to the nucleus of any organization or effort in which they engage. There’s a reason some folks get positioned center stage. It’s the “It” factor. Simply, if one has “it” others notice and respond. As we have seen Venus and Mars migrate into Virgo, their combined effort reports that talent, skill, resources and attribute, when consciously applied and practiced, reap amazing results. The cornucopia of such personal attributes spills the direction of “it.”

Here’s another truth to consider. In October, Jupiter and Saturn in Aquarius station and resume direct motion. Those confident sorts use these pivots to create ideal positioning for all life efforts. Those soulfully sufficient individuals who believe in their personal “it” find themselves in the position to mitigate the potential rejection woes of the two remaining Pluto in Capricorn to Eris in Aries squares remaining this year. How is such mitigation possible? Say the Virgo influences in play, “make yourself so full of ‘it’ you cannot be ignored.” Of course that means “it” in a good way only... a perfected and well-applied manner.

Ready? The house lights go down, the orchestra commences the opening overture. The curtain goes up and here’s act two of the Lingering looks at Leo.

1 August: Mercury in Leo opposes Saturn in Aquarius

August starts with a bang as two Mercurial moves and one solar action “poke the Ursa Major bear (the chalice of the constellation is in Leo)” of the son-father combo of gaseous giants. The first Mercurial transit is like that of asking dad to have the keys to the car. A viable reason for the use of car must be presented first. No doubt the response will have something to do with “what are you doing exactly while you’re gone?” and “what time do you plan to return home?” If facing a judge seeking to argue out of a speeding ticket, one might petition that the speed driven was in accord with the flow of traffic and safe for the conditions of the road...

Of course, it is preferred to be contending with the authorities in life without violating basic “safety rules” and to comply immediately with any and all agreements made. More to the point, Mercury instinctively recognizes or imagines capabilities that can be gainfully applied to any situation in life. While it may be true that one possesses such skills, one might not feel completely ready to be called in, though the knowledge of what must be done is possessed, the matter is entirely one of execution. A baseball coaching axiom comes to mind: “be quick, but don’t hurry.”

Everything takes time to engage. When pressing the button on the traffic signal to secure the “walk” light for crossing the road, push the button with the correct pressure to engage the switching mechanisms. Then trust the switch did its thing. In but a moment’s time the result of the button-pressing action can be seen and safe passage across a busy street can occur. Same goes with pitching anything in life. Pitch and give some time for the perfect response... the perfect response being a favorable reply and agreement to engage with your pitch. Be excellent in the moment and step back to permit proper reflection to occur.

2 August: Sun in Leo opposes Saturn in Aquarius

So there’s the thing with the Sun and Saturn going head to head. If the Sun makes a viable presentation to the Saturnian powers-that-be during this transit, most likely the response will be, “when can you start?” “Right now” is the only acceptable answer.

This brings up several points. One, are you ready and willing to do what you propose immediately and without delay? Ready and willing means are you emotionally geared to grind out what must be done. Do you want to do this, really? Is this part of your destiny? Do the actions fit your profile for what you intended to get out of this life when you chose to enter it? Do you have everything in place to get this going? If you say, “sure, let me complete the financing and then I’ll create the team,” certainly dismissal follows. If you indicate you have letters of intent with the team good to go and folks ready to dive in, you’ll make an appropriate splash.

3 August: Mercury in Leo squares Uranus in Taurus

No doubt there’s the inner thought that you can do this better than the way others are doing it now. This being anything. Especially those things that stirred up by the Mars to Uranus square last month. Remember that? Here it is imperative that what you are going to do to achieve better results must be clearly presented. Even before that, though, it is vital that the situation you seek to resolve be presented with clarity and the need for attention indicated. Agreement must occur that the “situation” is one that requires resolution. Achieving recognition of these considerations allows others the opportunity to respond favorably to your proposed changes. Such consensus of concept prevents any reaction of “squeaky wheel” or workplace or life situation malcontent applied to you.

6 August: Sun in Leo square Uranus in Taurus

“Do it differently!” certainly makes for a notable bumper sticker. However, the slogan declares a consciousness and a willfulness on the part of the individual to execute all tweaks, changes, transformations, adjustments and more, as the central, leading figure. There’s no hand-off of agenda permitted here. If you bring it up you are expected to be the person to head the team that fixes whatever the problem you’ve pointed out.

Should you proclaim a problem, you are expected to be the fixer as well. Any “revolution” or shift in consciousness requires a strong, competent leader with the enduring, yet flexible, vision of what the outcome intends to be. Apolitical operations function best. Factionalism fails to include the entirety of humankind. Any efforts or outpourings occurring in this time require a global, inclusive-of-all consciousness for success to be assured.

10 August: Mercury in Leo opposes Jupiter in Aquarius. The next day, Mercury enters Virgo.

This is a time for grand ideas. Here’s a safety tip: State what you have to say and walk away for five hours before asking, “So, what do you think?” Mercury opposes and Jupiter conjoins the stellar black hole system Cygnus X-3. Intrinsic within this stellar singularity is a period of 4.8 hours. Anything that comes up that deserves thought requiring five consecutive hours of percolation prior to pouring out the mnemonics reviewed.

Does the percolation need to be attended like a watched pot. No. We know how that goes. The percolation continues as background activity, much like when a software updates on your computer. The download happens and if your settings permit, the installation automatically follows the access. Then, your computer signals the process is complete and will let you know if a restart is required. Sometimes the restart simply resets the perspective. Sometimes the restart requires deletion of outdated files (or concepts) and then a clean up to ensure no toxic residue remains that can gum up the works.

So, when new ideas come to flag your awareness and if you deem them worthy of installation or application, get rid of anything thought-wise that interferes with the smooth installation and integration of new thinking. This transit demands a clear consciousness of what it means to declare, “that was then, this is now.” This is a “be here now” transit. And the next day, the first realization of the morning provides a clear sense that things are working out... definitely better than before. Optimism is restored.

19 August: Sun Exits Leo

As the third week of August unfolds the effects of the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars, and the Moon a couple times over, seek final inclusion in consciousness. Confidence must go without saying. The strut must be an internally assured soul to body linkage riding upon a solid belief system. And if so, the Virgo transit of the Sun declares that the person claiming to provide great insight and to do great things actually is up to the task. Everyone will know it. No doubt exists. Cynicism and skepticism vaporize.

Says the Universe to those successful Leo transit understudies, “Tag! You’re it!”

As mentioned, in about a third of a year, Jupiter and Saturn redirect their motion in the zodiac. What a time for making progress!
